OC Paws Dog Training has partnered with Pet Supplies Plus Huntington Beach to offer group classes, workshops and more. Our classes are designed to help YOU become your dog’s best teacher. We utilize positive training methods that will result in a happy and healthy dog. We clean and sanitize our training spaces for all group classes. Each participant is required to show proof of current vaccines.
Puppy Social Time Free
10 weeks old to 20 weeks old *
Puppy Social Time is a great opportunity to safely introduce your puppy to other dogs, people and more. Our puppy social time is for ages 10 weeks to 5 months old. During this 30-minute social time, we will guide you through puppy intros, playtime, greeting new people and exploring Pet Supplies Plus. We have one session for small breeds and another for medium/large breeds. We limit each session to 4 puppies. Please note that we require a sign-up process and proof of current vaccination.
Puppy Class – Intro to Training & Socialization $120
10 weeks old to 6 months old *
This 4 week class is designed to introduce both you and your puppy to positive dog training. Puppies will learn basic behaviors such as: sit, down, off, place, watch and start basic leash skills. This class will focus on positive socialization and behavioral enrichment. We will teach you how to set your dog up for success and answer all your questions along the way. After each class, your trainer will send you follow-up notes, helping you implement the training in your daily life.
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class $150

12 weeks old to 12 months old *
The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program focuses on all the things every puppy and owner need to have a great start together. STAR stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner and in six weeks of STAR puppy classes, puppies and dogs learn important behaviors and skills. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including house training, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy prepares pups to move on to Canine Good Citizen training.

* Group Classes and Puppy Social Time are for dogs who do not present any aggressive, reactive, or fearful behaviors towards other dogs or people. You must speak with a trainer to ensure your dog is a good fit for a group class. If we find that your dog is not a good fit for group class, we gladly offer private training. We want all of our clients to be successful.
