OC Paws Dog Training has partnered with Pet Supplies Plus Huntington Beach to offer group classes, workshops and more. Our classes are designed to help YOU become your dog’s best teacher. We utilize positive training methods that will result in a happy and healthy dog. We clean and sanitize our training spaces for all group classes. Each participant is required to show proof of current vaccines.
Puppy Social Time Free
10 weeks old to 20 weeks old *
Puppy Social Time is a great opportunity to safely introduce your puppy to other dogs, people and more. Our puppy social time is for ages 10 weeks to 5 months old. During this 30-minute social time, we will guide you through puppy intros, playtime, greeting new people and exploring Pet Supplies Plus. We have one session for small breeds and another for medium/large breeds. We limit each session to 4 puppies. Please note that we require a sign-up process and proof of current vaccination.
Puppy Basics: Intro to Training & Socialization $195

12 weeks old to 7 months old *
This 4 week class is designed to introduce both you and your puppy to positive dog training. Puppies will learn basic behaviors such as: sit, down, off, place, watch & start basic leash skills. This class will focus on positive socialization and behavioral enrichment. We will teach you how to set your dog up for success and answer all your questions along the way. After each class, your trainer will send you follow-up notes, helping you implement the training in your daily life. Our class size is limited to 4 dogs, you will get a lot of individual attention. Your trainer will also cover some management topics such as: ideal daily schedules, potty training, mouthing, chewing and jumping.

Brewery Manners Class $195

Do you enjoy visiting dog-friendly breweries and want to learn the skills to help your dog be calm and comfortable while you enjoy a good brew? Our Brewery Manners Class does exactly this! When you visit a brewery with a well-behaved dog, you not only set a good example for other visitors with dogs, but you also remind breweries that there are dogs out there who are fun to welcome to their spaces. During this class your Trainer will focus on teaching your dog to settle, remain calm during greetings with strangers, polite ordering skills, leash walking around distractions, leave it and managing a startle response.
Is your dog ready for this class? Since this class is an intermediate class, you and your dog should have taken at least one group class together. Your dog should have basic foundations: ability to take food rewards in the presence of other dogs & people, non-reactive (no barking, lunging, growling) towards other dogs & people, be able to settle on a mat, basic leash skills, sit & down.

* Group Classes and Puppy Social Time are for dogs who do not present any aggressive, reactive, or fearful behaviors towards other dogs or people. You must speak with a trainer to ensure your dog is a good fit for a group class. If we find that your dog is not a good fit for group class, we gladly offer private training. We want all of our clients to be successful.
